Drivers no longer refrain from parking near corners. This is perhaps a cultural change caused by the number of cars and the inability of the police to moving people on.
Few drivers will park on the corner itself but will park right up to the corners if there are not any yellow lines.
Elmbridge parking enforcement staff will enforce no parking on yellow lines but if there are not yellow lines then the enforcement is up to the police. Unless there is a serious traffic blockage the police will not do anything.
It is likely that we will have to place yellow lines on every corner.
